When night comes and in dark spaces, monsters appear to attack you. Build by the sea, in the sea, in caves, out in the open, or on higher ground. You'll build structures like different kinds of farms and a house to protect you from the elements through your time playing. Around you are many fun mobs (Minecraft language for creatures) that you'd eventually come to need for food later (you can make bread for a more vegan option). You'll spawn in a world full of mysterious lands and numerous biomes to explore. With that said, Minecraft is one of those open-world survival games that give you ample space to adventure and discover.
You collect the resources you need (mine) and craft the items you need to continue surviving in the world (craft), hence the name. You can play Minecraft through seemingly infinite worlds with equally unlimited resources that are randomly generated to give you a familiar but unique experience every time you boot up a server or create a world to play in.
